The 2011 Greenbelt festival begins on Friday 26 August and the Christian Aid campaigns team have lots planned over the course of the weekend.
Greenbelt highlights:
Ideal World
We'll be launching the next stage of our climate change campaign with our Ideal World concept. There will be a chance to share your vision of an Ideal World in 2030 and join our photo petition. On top of the this you can view the visions of an Ideal World from people from around the world.
When: all weekend in the Christian Aid tent.
Campaigns Academy
Christian Aid will be joining forces with Cafod and Traidcraft to put on a Campaigns Academy. It's a chance to sharpen your campaign skills and even develop new ones.
Over the course of three days there will be sessions on how to plan your campaign, building a movement and the tools of campaigning. So if you are at Greenbelt do join us.
When: 3:30pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Talks and Panel Debates
There are some of the talks and panel debates that will be looking at our campaigns over the weekend:
Brian McLaren:
You are selling your soul for a pair of flip flops! Centaur, 6:30pm on Friday.
Paul Brannen:
Why Martin Luther King changes the world and Mother Teresa never did! Jerusalem, 12:30pm on Monday.
