People's Climate Events

On the eve of major United Nations climate change talks in Paris, people from all walks of life and from every corner of the globe came together to show there is huge public support for ambitious climate action.

Ecumenical Services

In Dublin we organised an ecumenical service in St Teresa's Church, along with TrĂ³caire and Eco-Congregations Ireland.

Over 250 people attended and several church leaders participated. A new poem was written for the occasion by the celebrated poet John F. Deane.

The President of Ireland H.E. Michael D Higgins, Uachtarain na hEireann and Mrs Higgins attended, the Catholic Auxiliary Archbishop of Dublin, the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin and the President of The Methodist Church in Ireland.

In Belfast an ecumenical service was held in St Anne's Cathedral, organized by Christian Aid and TrĂ³caire.

In attendance were representatives from the Church of Ireland, Presbyterian Church in Ireland, World Council of Churches, Lutheran Church in Ireland, Methodist Church in Ireland and Roman Catholic Church .
