There are a number of ways to share your photos of the October 20 event on the Christian Aid website.
If you’ve never uploaded an image before, or not done so for a while, there are a number of choices – use Twitter, use Flickr or email your image to campaigns@christian-aid.org
If you’ve used TwitPic or any other Twitter photo service, such as yfrog, tweetpic, smugmug or twitgoo before, please submit your image as before with the hashtag #CAaction.
Already a Flickr user?
Log into Flickr as usual, then visit http://www.flickr.com/groups/ca20oct/ where you can add your photos.
New to Flickr?
You will need to register for a Flickr account here, www.flickr.com, after which you can visit http://www.flickr.com/groups/ca20oct/ to upload your images. (If you are a registered Yahoo user, you can use your Yahoo login to gain access to Flickr but you have to have a Yahoo account to use this service).
Sending photos by email
Simply email your image to campaigns@christian-aid.org. If you’re able, please try and save it as a JPG or GIF suitable for use on a website, and preferably under 1mb in size.
If you don’t want to do this, please email the photo but be aware that many email accounts don’t allow for very large images to be emailed as they are too big.
Small but important print
Anyone who submits an image must be the copyright owner for all photographs submitted and must have the permission of parents or guardians if children under 16 are featured.
Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to Christian Aid. By submitting images, permission is granted to Christian Aid to publish the photographs digitally and in print.
