August 2012
Christian Aid is committed to being an open and transparent organisation, and as part of this commitment will be working towards compliance with the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI).
Launched in 2011, IATI aims to improve the accessibility and comparability of aid spending across the sector.
As part of our funding agreements with DFID, and in line with our commitments to be accountable and transparent, the first of our reports outlining our allocation of UK government funds is now available.
In addition to the valuable donations given to us by supporters which enable our partners across the world to help poor people achieve huge changes in their lives, Christian Aid also receives funding from institutions such as governments, trusts and foundations to help us expand our reach significantly and bring about even greater and more long lasting change.

The Christian Aid IATI quarterly reports show how we have used DFID funds in the last quarter. We will be seeking to build on and improve this report over the coming 12 months.
