Christian Aid partner organisations in the Philippines continue to respond to the devastation caused by Typhoon Washi, which battered the south of the country over 16-18 December.

Eyewitness account

Linda Tiongco, a member of Christian Aid staff who was on vacation in the Philippines when the storm hit, recorded a short update on the scene in Cagayan de Oro. She highlights the incredible generosity the Filipino people are showing their neighbours. This follows an eyewitness account Linda wrote soon after Washi struck.
