Dublin City Historic Walk

Advent Hope Service - candles Thank you to everyone who attended the Dublin City Historic Walk on 24 May 2015.

We had 38 participants on the day and to date approximately €600 has been raised for the work of Christian Aid.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event, including the churches who welcomed the walkers along the way.

 Churches along the route included:

  • Christ Church Cathedral

  • Friends Meeting House, Eustace Street

  • Abbey Presbyterian Church

  • Dublin Central Mission (with music provided by the Zimbabwean Fellowship Choir)

  • St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Dermot Duggan, an experienced historical tourist guide, led the walk. He gave an engaging narration of the history of the city and the churches along the route.
