Will Aid / Best Will Week

Will Aid logoHaving your will professionally written can give you and your loved ones a sense of security and peace of mind.

Every November solicitors across GB and Northern Ireland participate in Will Aid month. In the Republic of Ireland solicitors participate in Best Will Week.

These solicitors give their time and expertise to draw up your Will and only ask for a suggested voluntary donation to a charity.

This is a great opportunity for you to not only get your affairs in order, but at the same time help thousands of people in need around the world by making a donation to Christian Aid.

During its history over 275,000 people have made their Will with Will Aid, raising over £100 million / €130 million for a range of good causes across the world.

How Will Aid works

Naomi Pinder, a Christian Aid supporter and solicitor in Liverpool, talks about Will Aid and how she saw at first hand the impact donations have when she visited communities we help in Haiti.

How do I find a participating solicitor?

For supporters in the Republic of Ireland, please visit bestwill.ie. The Will Aid website – willaid.org.uk – has a list of all participating solicitors in GB and Northern Ireland.

Your donation is voluntary, but we invite you to consider the suggested levels of donation when writing or revising your Will through these schemes:

  • €130 / £95 for a single Will

  • €200 / £150 for a pair of mirror Wills
