Our response to the Nepal earthquakes

When two earthquakes hit Nepal in April 2015, our supporters generously responded to our emergency appeal.

In the year that followed, Christian Aid and our partners reached more than 100,000 people across 7 districts in Nepal, providing essential food including lentils, rice and cooking oil; hygiene material; cash grants for livelihood support; materials to help build safer shelters and latrines; and training so people could learn how to make their new homes more earthquake resistant.

Our team in Nepal produced the following video which shows images of Nepal following the earthquakes and our response, in action.
