Invictus star supports ‘Count Your Blessings’ for Christian Aid this Lent

Adjoa AndohActress Adjoa Andoh, who stars in the new Academy Award-nominated movie Invictus, alongside Morgan Freeman, is supporting Christian Aid’s Count Your Blessings Lent campaign 2010.

The actress, who plays Nelson Mandela’s chief of staff Brenda Mazibuko, has recorded seven audio reflections for Premier Christian Radio which will be broadcast in the six weeks leading up to Easter, and during Holy Week.

Andoh said: 'Perhaps this Lent instead of giving something up, we can be inspired by the Count Your Blessings campaign to share our blessings, by giving to some of the inspirational work being done around the world.'

The Count Your Blessings campaign runs from 16 February until 4 April and is based around seven themes: The Next Meal, A Decent Living, Living Water, Tomorrow’s Child, Our Changing Climate, Rights & Justice and Life in the Holy Land.
