Our work
Hundreds of thousands of people were killed in the long and bitter civil war in Angola. Now, after decades of conflict, this oil-rich giant is at a crucial moment for deciding on its future. Our partners’ work focuses mainly on pressurising the Angolan government to respect the protection of human rights and deliver on its promises to invest in infrastructure. Partners also work on HIV prevention and awareness and on climate change adaptation for secure livelihoods.
