Our work
Emerging from a conflict which claimed many lives and displaced thousands, Burundi has been reduced to one of the poorest countries in the world. Christian Aid’s local partners are working to provide secure livelihoods for vulnerable families and repatriates, and helping to revive community life through empowering work on HIV, reconciliation and human rights issues.
