The programme aims to support highly vulnerable households and reach 4,000 households - approximately 30,000 people - in Konduga, in Borno State, Nigeria.
We are focussing on:
- food security through unconditional e-cash vouchers to provide immediate food assistance
- water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) work to ensure safe drinking water, improve sanitation facilities and hygiene practices.

Christian Aid's ECHO intervention will focus on covering current sectoral gaps in humanitarian response across Konduga, Nigeria, by targeting two of the most urgent humanitarian needs in this location:
- Food security through cash/commodity transfer
- Water, sanitation and health (WASH) activities, including essential hygiene items, for affected targeted households
