Why become a climate warrior?

Poor communities and younger generations will face the worst impacts of climate change unless the world urgently acts to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that cause it. We read in the book of Proverbs that, as Christians, we are to 'speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy'.

This climate campaigner training event will equip you with the knowledge to speak up for those most affected by the climate emergency. Our contributors will take you through the detail of what can be done by those in political leadership to tackle the climate crisis. You'll also learn the skills to campaign effectively and ensure your voice is heard. Together we'll also consider what steps we can each take to reduce our own carbon footprint so that by our example, we can inspire others to take their own steps.
