Young family enjoys day out at Laganside Walk

Laganside Walk 2019

Help us stamp out poverty this September at the annual Laganside Walk.

When: Sunday 22 September 2019
Where: Lagan Towpath, Shaw's Bridge, Belfast

The Laganside Walk is an annual family-friendly event to raise vital funds for the work of Christian Aid to continue around the world.

If you're unfamiliar with the location, then you're in for a treat. The Lagan Towpath runs along a canal system through a variety of wetland, riverside meadows and mixed woodland. Home to a variety of wildlife, the canal system dates back to the late 18th century.

The 3-mile walk is suitable for people of all ages and is accessible for buggies and wheelchair users and is also dog-friendly, so don't forget to bring your furry friends! This year we have an exciting nature quiz for all our younger supporters to complete along the route.

Registration for the event is open on the day at 3pm in the Crowne Plaza Hotel foyer - Shaw's Bridge, Belfast.

In order to help us 'stamp out poverty' we suggest a donation of £5 per adult and £10 for families.

We look forward to seeing you (and the sunshine) there!
