Where: Killiney Hill Park, Dublin
When: Sunday 15 September 2019

Our September Stroll in the Park is a great afternoon out for the whole family!

If you came to the event last year, we have a few changes in store. This year, participants can enjoy a one-hour long guided walk around the park, encompassing Killiney's historical sights. Along the route, a photo exhibition of Christian Aid's global work will be on display for your perusal.

The route is suitable for all walking abilities and accessible for buggies and wheelchair users. It's also dog-friendly, so don't forget to bring your furry friends along too!

September Stroll in the Park is a family day out
The venue

The natural landscape of Killiney Hill Park has a peaceful atmosphere with sea views and woodland trails rich with wildlife. The highest point in the park is at located at the obelisk, which is 170 meters above sea level. From here, there are spectacular views of the whole Dublin coast from the Wicklow/Dublin Mountains. We're hopeful for good weather as on a good day with clear skies, walkers may be able to see the Mourne Mountains in Co. Down in the distance.

Refreshments are available on site.

The cause and registration

In order to help us 'stamp out poverty' we suggest a donation of €5 per adult and €12 for families. All donations will help families and communities living in poverty throughout the developing world.

Registration will begin at 2.30pm in Killiney Hill car park, and we plan to start our guided walk at 3pm. We look forward to seeing you (and the sunshine) there!
