Join Christian Aid for a fundraising charity walk in Killiney Hill Park

September Stroll in the Park

Join us for a family-friendly fundraising walk at Killiney Hill and Dalkey Quarry.

Killiney Hill Park, Sunday 23 September

Our September Stroll in the Park is a great afternoon out for the whole family!

We have three different routes suitable for all walking abilities; one of which is accessible for buggies and wheelchair users. All routes are dog-friendly, so don't forget to bring your furry friends along too!

September Stroll in the Park is a family day out

The venue

The natural landscape of Killiney Hill Park has a peaceful atmosphere with sea views and woodland trails rich with wildlife. The highest point in the park is at located at the obelisk, which is 170 metres above sea level. From here, there are spectacular views of the whole Dublin coast from the Wicklow/Dublin Mountains. We're hopeful for good weather as on a good day with clear skies, walkers may be able to see the Mourne Mountains in Co. Down in the distance.

Registration commences at 2pm in Killiney Hill car park. We look forward to seeing you (and the sunshine) there!

The cause

The money you raise will fund life-changing projects for women in Burkina Faso, Honduras, Malawi and Ethiopia. This is part of Christian Aid’s Breaking the Barriers programme which aims to increase rural women’s jobs and income in the sustainable energy sector, improve working and living conditions, promote gender equality, and strengthen women's social status. Plus, every 1 you raise will be worth 5, thanks to EU match funding for our Breaking the Barriers project. That’s five times the number of lives you can help transform!
