Supporter conference 2021: Republic of Ireland

An evening to inspire, encourage and equip you with all you need to do something as part of Christian Aid's year of Climate Justice

This November we are delighted to host a new Supporter Conference in the Republic of Ireland, with the theme of “Hope going forward”.

2021 is Christian Aid’s year of Climate Justice and we are calling on the church to pray, act and give. This supporter conference is a great way to explore how we can be inspired to be involved in this challenge.

This conference will take place via Zoom and the details can be found below.

East Coast & Galway

(Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford and inland Kildare, Laois, Offaly, Kildare, Carlow, Meath, Westmeath and Galway)

Thursday 18th November 2021, 8-9pm via Zoom

Supporter conference agenda:

  • Welcome
  • Opening Prayer - Reflection
  • Interview with Reverend Tony Murphy on his recent volunteer fundraising experience
  • Partner story – video interview with Colombian partner with commentary from Conor O’Neill (Advocacy and Policy Team).
  • Discussion with Roisin Gallagher (Gender & Inclusion Officer) on the role of “women in the communities - partners that we work in partnership for change”.
  • What you can do as a supporter - Pray, Act, and Give.
  • Opportunity for questions, ideas, and discussion on activities to highlight global issues such as climate change, humanitarian crisis, etc.
  • Closing Prayer
