New climate change resources for schools and small groups
After the nationwide success of Baked Alaska, Riding Lights has turned this delicious slice of theatrical satire into seven short punchy films, each covering an aspect of the urgent problem of climate change.
Baked Alaska is a play, created by Riding Lights Theatre Company in 2015, to tour the UK in the run-up to the Paris Climate talks that December.
The project was funded by the Diocese of Lichfield who chose Christian Aid and Operation Noah to commission a creative production to highlight concern for caring for the environment.
After a successful tour, Riding Lights produced a series of bitesize film clips with discussion guides to use in schools and small groups (in church).
The creative resources have been developed for secondary schools by RE Today and for small group discussion by Rev Jim Roberts. The resources include questions and activities to accompany each film.
