Create a Prayer Wall of Hope
One of the ways that your church could mark Christian Aid’s 75th anniversary is by creating and hosting a “prayer wall of hope”. Through this you can encourage others to thank God for the amazing transformative impact that Christian Aid’s work has had in communities round the world over the past 75 years and also pray for the challenges that lie ahead.
A ‘prayer wall of hope’ is an interactive creative prayer space where people are inspired to pray about global justice issues, such as climate change and the global response to coronavirus. It could be a wall inside the church (Covid-19 restrictions allowing) or could be outside using the church railings or outer wall space.
